Knowing the how
is not the same as knowing why.

Many caregivers learn newborn care in pieces. A routine from one family, a tip from a colleague, a post online. It works, until a parent asks why, or a situation does not match what you have seen before.

Then you are left guessing, or searching sources you cannot trust. And research and AAP guidance keep changing, so what you learned years ago may no longer be current.

Elevate brings it all into one course. It covers newborn care from the medical, developmental, emotional and professional angles, explains the why behind each practice, and gives you an AI companion to answer your questions as you learn.

What changes for you

After the course,
you can:

Explain the why to families

Go beyond routines to the reasons behind newborn care practices, so you can explain them to parents with confidence.

Get answers while you learn

Ask the AI companion your questions at any time, and get answers drawn from Newborn Care Solutions' own research and teaching.

Understand common newborn conditions

Learn what you need to know, in a non-medical role, about six common medical conditions in newborns, reflux, oral ties and food allergies.

Support the whole family

Care for preemies and multiples, support breastfeeding with sensitivity, and help both postpartum moms and fathers.

Build a credible business

Strengthen your branding, resume, portfolio and online presence, interview well, and set up contracts and agency work.

Stay current as guidance changes

Learn in a living program that is updated and expanded as research and best practices change.

Is this course right for you?

This course is for you if

  • You are an aspiring Newborn Care Specialist who wants the most complete core route from the start
  • You are an experienced NCS who wants a refresh on the latest research, updated AAP guidelines and communication
  • You learn best when you can ask questions as you go
  • Your goal is certification. CACHE has reviewed and approved Elevate to meet its certification training requirement.

Choose another route if

  • You want lifetime access or a lower price. Foundational covers the same essential core objectives, with lifetime access.
  • You have already finished core NCS training and want further topics, such as infant brain development and high-profile clients. Advanced is your next step.
  • You only need one topic, such as sleep or feeding. A specialty course is a better fit.

The learning.
In their words.

The flow makes it easy to absorb and apply right away, and even as a seasoned NCS, I found so many real-world takeaways I can use with my clients.

The AI Companion is brilliant. When I asked my question and the answer popped up and I could very much tell that the answers came directly from Tonya and Newborn Care Solutions because it sounds just like Tonya. I thought that was incredibly cool!

Before you enroll

Your questions,
answered.

Should I choose Elevate or Foundational?

Choose one. Elevate does not replace Foundational. It is an alternative path for learners who want a more comprehensive, AI-supported experience from the start. Both cover the same essential core objectives. Elevate adds nearly double the content, new modules and deeper dives, for $1,799 with 365 days of access. Foundational is $997, with lifetime access.

Is Elevate just a more expensive version of Foundational?

No. Elevate digs deeper into the Foundational topics and includes nearly double the content, created from student feedback on what they wanted more of. It comes in a more accessible format with an AI companion, and can be updated quickly when guidance changes, for example when the AAP updates a recommendation.

Am I learning from AI?

No. You learn using AI, not from it. Newborn Care Solutions did the research and wrote the content. The AI companion was built from Newborn Care Solutions' own body of work, so it does not invent information. It makes that knowledge easy to search and explore, and new content is added as the team keeps learning.

Does Elevate count toward certification?

Yes. CACHE has reviewed and approved Elevate to meet its certification training requirement, so you can take Elevate instead of Foundational if your goal is certification. The course ends with the CACHE Accreditation Certification Assessment.

How long do I have, and what if I am short on time?

You have 365 days of access, and the course is fully self-paced. Each module is focused and logically structured, and the AI companion is there when you want a point clarified.

Is there a Spanish edition?

Yes. Elevate is also available in Spanish. Use the Spanish edition link at the top of this page.

Can I take Advanced after Elevate?

Advanced asks for prior approved NCS or postpartum doula training, or 3 years of equivalent, documentable experience at the instructor's discretion. Elevate and Advanced are also sold together as a bundle for $1,997. Current and past Elevate students can request complimentary enrollment in the Continuing Education Collective.
