Is it a rash, an allergic reaction,
or something more concerning?

Newborns seem to have a lot of skin sensitivities as they adapt to their new world. When something new shows up on a baby's skin, parents often turn to the person caring for their baby.

Without a clear picture of what is common, it is hard to stay calm, and hard to know when a family should check with their medical provider.

Skin Rashes in Newborns gives you a clear understanding of the 10 most common newborn skin appearances and rashes, and of the ones that are cause for concern.
