Start from day one
Begin your work with a new baby from an in-depth understanding of day one.
Specialty course, 17 lessons, 3 CEU hours
For newborn care specialists and caregivers who have baby experience but want more confidence in the earliest weeks, or a refresher. Start with day one, then learn milestones, reflexes, development, behavior and appearance.

You may have years with babies and NCS training behind you. But if you have not worked much with babies who are only a few days old, a brand new newborn can feel like new ground.
Or it has been a few years since you last cared for a brand new baby. When parents ask whether what they see is normal, you want a clear answer, not a guess.
The First Six Weeks starts with an in-depth look at day one. Then it covers milestones, reflexes, development, behavior and appearance, so you know what you need to know about this stage.
