Certified means
different things to different people.

Agencies and families may ask whether you are certified. Many course certificates use the same word, and it is easy to mix up finishing a course with earning a certification.

That confusion costs you. You may plan around a credential that has steps you have not met yet, or pay a fee before you know you qualify.

The clear path is to build your knowledge with solid training, and to treat certification as its own step, with its own requirements and its own fee, confirmed before you apply.

What changes for you

After the course,
you can:

Know the NCS role

Explain what a Newborn Care Specialist is, and how the role differs from a doula, night nanny or nanny.

Give confident newborn care

Provide head-to-toe newborn care, including bathing, feeding, diapering and swaddling.

Run the business side

Handle contracts, liability insurance and taxes, and choose between agencies and going solo.
