Price

Format
Year-long cohort, application required, February to November 2027: monthly group calls, one-to-one consulting and a retreat
Prerequisites
Foundational NCS completed, at least one year of newborn nanny or NCS work, and actively moving into NCS work. Advanced NCS is required during the year.

Experience got you here.
It will not take you further on its own.

You have supported families through long nights, changing schedules, feeding concerns, travel and multiples. You have the experience. The question now is what you do with it.

At this stage, another basic newborn care course repeats what you already know. And the families hiring an experienced NCS are judging more than your newborn care. They notice how you communicate, how you hold boundaries, how you handle confidentiality and how you work with the rest of the household.

Growth can also get lonely. Most classes and groups are built for people who are new to the field, so it gets harder to find peers who understand the complexity of your work.

Elite NCS gives you a year of structured development with a select cohort of experienced professionals and close guidance from the instructor. You examine how you work, close the gaps you may not see yourself and decide where your career goes next.

What changes for you

After the course,
you can:

Communicate your value clearly

Explain your expertise to families and agencies with more confidence, so they understand what specialized newborn care is worth.

Navigate complex positions

Handle demanding family dynamics, boundaries, confidentiality and work alongside other household professionals with a steadier hand.

Grow with experienced peers

Learn in a cohort of NCSs who are as serious about their careers as you are, in group calls, a private group and the retreat.

Get personal guidance

Bring your own questions to private one-to-one consulting with the instructor throughout the year, plus email for quick questions.

Earn the Elite NCS title

Once you successfully complete your Elite cohort year, you may officially refer to yourself as an Elite NCS.

Work toward Master NCS

After Elite, you can apply for Master NCS and, on successful completion, use the trademarked Master NCS title.

What the program includes

  • Customized group training calls every month
  • Private one-to-one consulting with the instructor throughout the year
  • Unlimited email access for quick questions (in-depth issues move to a call)
  • A training retreat during your Elite NCS and Master NCS year
  • A private Facebook group for your cohort
  • Elite workbooks
  • A featured listing on the Newborn Care Solutions website as one of the Elite
  • A custom Elite NCS badge (PNG) for your marketing
  • Special learning opportunities and discounts offered only to the Elite
  • Networking, learning opportunities and lasting professional relationships

Course materials are in your student portal during your enrollment year only. Later access requires an administrative fee unless you make arrangements in advance.

Is this course right for you?

This course is for you if

  • You have completed the Foundational NCS Training Program, online or in person
  • You have at least one year of newborn nanny or NCS work, and you are actively moving into NCS work
  • You want to communicate your expertise to families and agencies with more confidence
  • You want development that challenges you, not a course that repeats what you know
  • You can commit to monthly group calls, assignments and the retreat for a full year

Choose another route if

  • You are new to newborn care. Elite is not an entry point into the field
  • You have not yet reached one year of newborn nanny or NCS work. Consider The NCS Advantage Program first
  • You want a self-paced course to finish on your own schedule. Elite is a cohort and requires 85% participation to move on

The learning.
In their words.

Becoming a Newborn Care Specialist truly changed my life, but becoming Elite took my career to a whole new level. The education and confidence I gained completely changed the way I see myself as a professional.

The Elite NCS training has been so amazing with the advancement of my career. I have learned so much and truly benefited from the group. Getting to know all of the ladies and sharing with each other, really helps in the sisterhood of our group. I'm very proud to be amongst these amazing ladies. Thank you so much!

Before you enroll

Your questions,
answered.

Why is there an application?

Elite NCS is a cohort program, and the application shows whether it fits where you are in your career. It covers your newborn care background, professional experience, previous education, career development, goals and readiness. Not everyone who applies is accepted.

What do I need before I apply?

You need to have completed the Foundational NCS Training Program, online or in person, and have at least one year of newborn nanny or NCS work, and be actively moving into NCS work during your first year. You are also required to take the Advanced NCS Training Program online during the year.

What else is required to join?

All participants go through a reference and background and social media screening. You also sign a contract, an intellectual property non-disclosure agreement, a photo and video release and a professional code of conduct before the year starts. Your place is secured once these are received, your deposit or payment is in and the instructor approves you.

How does payment work?

You pay a $500 deposit with your application. It is refunded if you are not accepted for any reason. Flexible payment plans are available for accepted participants, along with PayPal financing or paying in full with no surcharge. The sooner you are accepted and enrolled, the more time you have to spread your payments. There are no refunds once you are accepted.

When does the 2027 cohort start?

The 2027 cohort begins February 1, 2027. Applications are open now. Spots are limited and filled first come, first served, and a spot is not held without a deposit.

What is the difference between Elite NCS and Master NCS?

Every first-time participant starts at Elite. Elite requires 85% participation to move on. Master NCS is open only to those who have successfully completed Elite, and it requires 100% participation to receive the Master NCS credential. One graduate describes her cohort's Master year as a year-long project with a research paper and a presentation. The program evolves each year.

Can I talk to a graduate first?

Yes. Graduates encourage you to talk with several of them before you decide. Email Julie at Newborn Care Solutions to connect with graduates, or send your questions to info@newborncaresolutions.com with the subject Elite 2027.
